Pittsburgh Design Diva wants to hear about your project. Give you advice and establish a game plan. Let us find out about your expectations, your needs, your wants and work towards establishing a budget.
STEP 2
Design proposal
The Diva is all about the details! Sometimes a project just needs baby steps… and other times a project requires a huge leap! It depends on you, your home and your budget. The proposal breaks down the costs of your project so you can make the best decision on how to proceed with the redesign.
STEP 3
Finalizing the fixture list
The fixtures are the visual materials we all love: paint color, tub selection, lighting, ie.. the kitchen sink! It is nice to finalize this with the construction proposal so you won’t have surprises later in the process. There are so many different materials available and many of them do require different installation materials or labor time, I like to present all costs and possible alternatives to clients prior to the start of work. I have learned that clear communication is essential to customer satisfaction!
STEP 4
Construction proposal
The scope of work and client expectations dictates this step. My proposal will include work with a team of registered plumbers, electricians, and skilled carpenters.
STEP 5
Let us manage the process
The Pittsburgh Design Diva ensures that what she’s created and started…gets completed…and on time and within budget. If you have lived through a remodel, you know how many moving parts and people are involved. Melodie will manage the entire process and hold to task the various professionals involved in your project.
STEP 6
Changes? You want changes?
Sometimes that’s not difficult, sometimes it can be. The Diva likes to stand by her work and original construction price, but if you have a change in vision, she will do what you want and figure out the most cost efficient way to do it. She wants you to love your investment and love to spend time at home!
STEP 7
Love your redesign and rave about the Design Diva
Now it’s time to enjoy your room and let the Diva know how she did. The Diva wants to hear from you! She uses a third-party referral company called Guild Quality, which will send you a survey within two weeks of your finished project. The survey is specifically tailored to your project. We always appreciate valuable feedback to help us constantly improve. We also appreciate our clients who go the extra mile and give us referrals on Houzz, Angie’s list, and Google.
